Summer has officially started, and with the new season comes new menu options from Cape May’s best restaurant, Harry’s Ocean Bar & Grille – Harrys Ocean Bar & Grille has the only rooftop deck restaurant in Cape, May NJ. New for 2018, to the breakfast and lunch menus, include Cinnamon Roll Pancakes, a Waffle-wich, Pulled Pork Benedict, Butcher’s Cut Burger, and several delicious sandwich options: Turkey Apple Brie, Roast Beef & Arugula, and Chicken Pesto. New dinner entrees feature a NY Strip, Chicken Milanese, Salmon, and Tuna Poke Bowl. And to beat the heat this summer, make sure to pick up a cool glass of one of the new seasonal cocktails. The Yokels
The Yokels will take you where you want to go on a breezy, summer evening, playing the greatest classic rock, blues, country and Americana songs from the 60s, 70s and 80s. The band is made of stellar musicians from the Jersey Cape and when they get together, it’s always a great show. Lead singer Marnie Lengle’s soaring, soulful voice will make you smile. It fits perfectly among this power trio of Nate Kennedy, Ed Dobbs, and Andy Reeves. And most nights, a fifth talented local Yokel will join in on keys, mandolin, guitar or harmonica.
The Capers
The Capers, composed of vocalist Bernadette Matthews, guitarist Ron DiUbaldi, keyboardist Amy Hufana and drummer Geoff Moran, offer a classic mix of cover tunes ranging from soft rock, to country, to Motown, to jazz, blues and R&B. Their favorite acts to cover include the Eagles, America, the Beatles, Roy Orbison, Ray Charles, Eric Clapton, Aretha Franklin, Gershwin, Smokey Robinson, and more. The Capers play in venues in and around Cape May and are happily playing at Harry’s.
Que Farkas
Having grown up in South Jersey, Quinton “Que” Farkas is no stranger to a good time. Que is a self-taught multi-instrumental musician who infuses all of his shows with the art of live looping (the recording and playback of a piece of music in real-time). Que is a versatile musician whose set lists include a diverse selection of musical genres, from classic rock, to reggae, to country, to current hits. He also has an uncanny ability to connect with his audiences.
