It’s official, the Best of Cape May 2021 winners have been announced. A HUGE thank you to everyone who voted for us. We’re thrilled to have received top marks as the restaurant with the best appetizers in Cape May plus in these other categories.

Again, it’s a huge honor to be voted the Best of Cape May in SEVEN categories, especially with such stiff competition. In celebration of these prestigious designations, we’d like to highlight the work of our excellent culinary staff by outlining our best appetizers in Cape May menu, as well as the salads and cocktails that put us on the ‘Best of’ map.

The Best Appetizers in Cape May category considered Cape May restaurants with the best small and sharable plates. Harry’s offers:

Loaded fried

This Harry’s appetizer features hand-cut fries, applewood smoked bacon crumbles, melted cheese, scallions, and sour cream or ranch dressing. Perfect for sharing, they’re exceptionally delicious – bet you can’t have just one.

Pub Pretzels

Enjoy two oven-baked pretzels with Yuengling beer cheese sauce and honey mustard. A local favorite.

Jumbo Wings

Choose one: Harry’s hot n’ honey, classic buffalo, honey BBQ, or Thai chili. All served with bleu cheese or ranch dressing, and celery. Another top-notch shareable plate.

Smoked Trout Dip

A Harry’s signature creation, this smoked trout dip comes with yummy horseradish cream and a toasted French baguette.

A traditional hummus plate with homemade hummus, baked pita, and fresh vegetables, elevated.

Goat Cheese Bruschetta

A not-so-typical twist on classic bruschetta. Goat cheese spread, tomato, toasted French baguette.

Bacon-wrapped Scallops

Applewood smoked bacon and horseradish cream.

Peel n’ Eat Shrimp

A dozen shrimp accompanied by bloody Mary cocktail sauce and lemon.

Grilled marinated shrimp on a bed of romaine lettuce with chopped bacon, hardboiled egg, tomato, corn, avocado, black beans, plus Southwest ranch dressing. A balanced and satisfying salad.

This salad celebrates all foods summer in Cape May. Local mixed greens, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, candied pecans, crumbled blue cheese, raspberry vinaigrette, and yogurt poppyseed dressing.

Sesame Ginger Chicken Salad

What can we say? This salad appeases the pickiest of eaters. Mixed greens, grilled chicken breast, roasted red peppers, sesame seeds, crunchy wonton noodles, cucumbers, orange ginger dressing. Sure to satisfy any and all cravings.

Last, but certainly not least, these Cape May cocktails are sure to wet your whistle in the very best way.

Jersey Fresh Blueberry Mojito

Cape May Distillery blueberry rum, muddled blueberries, mint, lime, simple syrup, and club soda. So. Refreshing.

Platinum Margarita

Sauza Hornitos plata tequila, Cointreau, Grand Marnier, fresh lime juice, a splash of fresh orange juice. Served frozen or on the rocks.

Aperol Spritz

Aperol, Prosecco, club soda.

Cold Brew Mudslide

New this season, Harry’s Cold Brew Mudslide. A delicious concoction of cold brew coffee, vodka, and Bailey’s, served over a vanilla ice cream base.
