It’s hard to believe that Labor Day has come and gone. It was a lovely holiday weekend at Harry’s Ocean Bar & Grille, complete with beautiful weather, delicious food, and outstanding live entertainment. We’re endlessly grateful for your support. You stuck with us through this season’s occasionally choppy waters and we’re so thankful. We’re so happy to be among other Cape May restaurants open in the fall. Going forward, we’re excited for more good vibes, good views, and good times this September.
Before we update you on Harry’s September hours and our daily specials, we’d like to take a moment to introduce our back-of-house all-stars! This trio of kitchen leaders works behind the scenes all season long to dream up and execute each of our delicious dishes.
Pictured left to right: Sous Chef Elliot Perez (4th season at Harry’s), Executive Chef Mark Ehrhardt (11th season), and Chef Du Cuisine Darryl Oliver (3rd season).
This crew brings their A-game every year, but they deserve special acknowledgment this season. 2020 was certainly a long, strange trip, and these guys have met every challenge with determination and skill – all while working long hours in a hot kitchen with masks on! We couldn’t have delivered such an awesome summer experience to our guests without these gentlemen.
When dining with us this Labor Day Weekend and beyond, make sure to send some extra “compliments to the chef”!

We’re so excited to be among other Cape May Restaurants Open in the Fall. Early autumn is a beautiful time to visit Cape May. The air is cool and crisp, the water is warm, and the village is quiet. Take advantage the specials and packages our sister establishment, Montreal Beach Resort is offering, and take a trip to Cape May soon.
