Harry’s Ocean Bar & Grilles is looking for an experienced and hardworking line cooks to join our culinary team. Our line cooks will be responsible for preparing and cooking appetizers, entrees, and desserts; ensuring the ingredients are fresh, that the work area is clean, and that the necessary equipment is readily available. You will need to be detail-oriented, and able to thrive in the fast-paced environment of our kitchen.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Cooking the food as ordered
- Help Executive Chef develop new recipes
- Seasoning food
- Preparing Sauces and other items for meal service
- Cutting or peeling fruits, vegetables, and meats
- Making sure food on the menu is available
Requirements and Qualifications
- Excelling in a variety of cooking styles, and techniques
- Knowledge of safety rules and regulations (Board of Health, Servsafe)
- Past experience as a line cook (1-2 years)
- Culinary education is a plus
- Familiar with Ticket/Computer monitor orders in kitchen
