Harry’s Ocean Bar & Grilles is looking for an experienced and hardworking line cooks to join our culinary team. Our line cooks will be responsible for preparing and cooking appetizers, entrees, and desserts; ensuring the ingredients are fresh, that the work area is clean, and that the necessary equipment is readily available. You will need to be detail-oriented, and able to thrive in the fast-paced environment of our kitchen.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Cooking the food as ordered
  • Help Executive Chef develop new recipes
  • Seasoning food
  • Preparing Sauces and other items for meal service
  • Cutting or peeling fruits, vegetables, and meats
  • Making sure food on the menu is available

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Excelling in a variety of cooking styles, and techniques
  • Knowledge of safety rules and regulations (Board of Health, Servsafe)
  • Past experience as a line cook (1-2 years)
  • Culinary education is a plus
  • Familiar with Ticket/Computer monitor orders in kitchen
